Anita is a professional hair & makeup artist with decades of experience in the Australian and International Film & TV industry. She is of Jamaican/Irish decent, and received her training in all aspects of hair & makeup in the UK and graduated from the University College of Burmingham.
As a highly qualified hair & makeup designer, Anita has become very sort after within the industry, having worked on a wide range of feature films, television series & commercials. She has worked with high profile actors such as Gerard Butler, Kelvin Harrison Jr & Hugo Weaving and is known for having a flair for calming down actors in extreme conditions, always maintaining her professionalism along with a bubbly sense of humour and love of the job.
Her most recent work include – feature film ‘Kandahar ‘ where she travelled to Saudi Arabia as personal hair & Makeup artist to Gerard Butler; Hair & Makeup designer for Black Snow, with Travis Flimmel; and Hair & Makeup Designer for Swift Street for SBS.
