CEO & Senior Agent

Jayne has an undeniable understanding of the industry having spent 20 years as a Costume Designer. She has styled some of the greats including Daniel Craig, Andy Serkis, Queen, David Bowie, U2 & Bjork to name but a few. With Jayne’s own experiences she can empathise with those we represent which gives our agency a unique edge. Jayne is the figurehead of the business developing our creative departments and is the heart & soul of Gems.

David

Director & Senior Agent

David joined Gems in 2013 and represents the Assistant Directors, Location Managers, Sound Mixers & Script Supervisors. His background is in Arts & TV and includes roles at The Arts Council of Wales & S4C; he is a fluent Welsh speaker. Interesting facts about David: he started in a large London law firm as a PA and he has 2 dogs and lives by the sea.

Nicola

Financial Controller

Nicola has been Gems’ FC since 2011, and is heavily involved with the Agency, being a constant support. Being a Chartered Certified Accountant for over 20 years, and running a successful practice we are very lucky to have her wealth of experience. She is a keen traveller, with a deep love for Red wine and all things cheese related.
Nicola lives with her 2 boys and her doggy and spends her evenings Cross stitching while watching Star Trek

Jo

Production Accounts

Jo’s career started in banking, spending over 10 years mastering the art of keeping the numbers in line. She worked in a finance role at a secondary school for 18 years, where she was known for having a sharp eye for detail and being thoroughly dependable… if something didn’t add up, Jo would spot it.

Jo has been at Gems for 2 years and enjoys being part of the team and keeping all the clients’ accounts in order.
Outside of work, she swaps spreadsheets for horse riding, long walks and quality time with her daughters. She has a big soft spot for animals, especially donkeys and shares her home with Winnie & Bernie; two much-loved tortoises.

Polly

Agent

Polly started out as a freelance Assistant Stage Manager and worked with both RSC & The National Theatre, collaborating with some super big names. Since then, she has worked in the charity sector and advertising, managing influencers and local-based talent and locations. Now, as the new agent at Gems, she's excited to combine her two favourite passions; the entertainment industry and matching talent to great opportunities. Outside of work, Polly enjoys long-distance hikes, scuba diving, Dungeons & Dragons, walking rescue dogs at Cardiff Dogs Home and endless cups of tea.

Danni

Talent Agent

Danni brings 16 years of industry experience to her role as Talent Agent, having previously worked as a freelance Assistant Director across TV and Film. Her extensive time on set has given her a deep understanding of the fast-paced demands of production and the realities of freelance life.
Outside of work, she loves travelling, cooking, pilates and spending time with her cavapoochon, Pepper.

Nikki

Personal Assistant

Nikki, also known as The PPA (P=Perfect, Personal Assistant) is Jayne’s girl Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, assisting in all that goes on behind the scenes and contributing towards the success of the agency. With a background in Aviation, Medicine and the charity sector her caring and meticulous manner supports the entire team. Nikki is super-multitalented in all aspects and nothing is too big or hot for her to handle.

Bertie

Office Therapy Dog

Bertie, aka Mr B is always with us in Gems HQ unless he’s gone out for his walkies. He’s the heart and soul of the office, provides lots of love & laughter and is a fierce protector when the postman comes. He loves a visitor and favours raw treats… just saying.
He’s interested in international movies, film noir being his favourite genre. He loves a musical, his favourite being Cabaret. He’s not keen on Marley but does like Hooch. He dislikes fireworks immensely.
